We just came back from the wonderful cape of good hope overnight trail. We hiked 40km in 2 days, had beautiful weather, except for the crazy wind today. I could almost fly!!! Arriving at Cape Point after so many hours of walking was really rewarding!! After such a long day, it was unexpected to have a hot shower at the hut... sooooo nice!!!! The hut must be booked in advance and has a 5 star view (you see that sunset?!). We were lucky to be alone that night, you feel so far away from everything and everyone... Just a perfect couple of days! We chose to come to East Africa, not only for Tanzania and the Kilimanjaro, we had yet another dream in our minds.... One morning, we woke up very early and drove at the triple border between Uganda, Rwanda and DRC. After more than 2 hours of trekking, we arrived in a clearing and witnessed one of the cutest scenes: daddy gorilla playing with baby gorilla.
